Hair Care Tips
WASHING
Before washing, fold the hair neatly from the weft and use a rubber band to bond it. Brush the hair out starting from the bottom and working your way up using a paddle brush. Wash hair in lukewarm or tepid water; make sure its hanging loose. Please avoid cheap shampoos and conditioners, use quality, professional brands. Be sure to use a shampoo with a PH balance of 7 or lower. The term PH originates from the French term, ‘pouvoir hydrogen’ or Hydrogen power and simply refers to the amount of hydrogen ions present in a substance.
Distribute shampoo and conditioner evenly throughout the hair. Start with the weft, pat the weft in shampoo and water to wash out the dirt caused by sweat. This is the dirtiest part of the hair so depending on how dirty the water gets after washing the weft, you can change the water and start over. Avoid scrubbing or rubbing the hair together, simply slide your hand over the hair repeatedly until it is clean. Rinse shampoo out thoroughly and apply conditioner through the hair. Leave the conditioner in for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Never use products that contain sulfur.
Pat excess water from hair and allow to air dry. Avoid pulling hair while wet. Never sleep with wet hair.

STYLING
Hair styling has evolved over the years with more ladies learning how to lay their frontal wigs and style their hair properly, thanks to youtube. For beginners, there are a few products and tools that are a must have when styling your hair.
- Hot comb
- hair serum
- wax stick
Furthermore do not apply any heavy oils on your scalp either as they will seep into the hair extension, in turn weighing it down and resulting in restricted movement and potential tangling.
SLEEP
To keep your hair fresh while you sleep, wrap hair up with a satin scarf or use a satin sleep cap or a satin pillow case to prevent friction.
STATIC
In colder climates, you may experience some static with your hair. The best way to deal with this is to dampen your hands with water, and rub hand together so they are warm. Run the palms of your hands slightly over the strands of hair that are affected, without actually touching your hair. This process should help control the static.
SWIMMING
It is not recommended that you swim with your virgin hair. However if you do ,the following precautions are recommended.
• Use a swimming cap.
• Before swimming, brush hair thoroughly.
• Braid hair into one a bundle before wearing your swimming cap to prevent matting.
• After swimming, rinse hair thoroughly under shower. Ensure that traces of chlorine are washed out completely.
• Immediately after showering undo braid, shampoo and deep condition hair.
COLORED HAIR
We advise that you have a professional stylist perm, tint, color or bleach your hair. Always deep condition hair that has been colored especially if bleaching agents are applied.
